Mozilla has released Firefox 3.0.7. The updated fixes several security and stability issues.
Firefox is also now available in 3 new languages; Estonian, Kannada, and Telugu.
The browser should be pushed out to existing Firefox 3 users or can be downloaded from the Firefox website. A full list of changes can be found in the Firfox 3.0.7 Release Notes.
New Windows 7 betas show that Internet Explorer 8 is an optional install, a move which should keep the EU and Opera happy.

Opera have today released Opera 9.64. The new version fixes many security issues, many of which would have been severe if exploited by attackers.

Results for Februrary are in and Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera are all winners for the month.
Februrary statistics from Net Applications shows that Internet Explorers share continued its decline, dropping 0.04% to 67.51%.
Firefox was a big winner, with a 0.2% increase to 21.73%, while Google Chrome increased its share by 0.03% to 1.15%.
Opera also had a good month increasing its share by 0.01% to 0.71%.
Apple’s Safari did not far so well, with the first decrease in months to 8.00%. That’s a 0.29% drop from last month.
The next month will be interesting, with the inimant release of Internet Explorer 8 expected this month and Apple’s Safari 4 beta being released just days ago.
Google Chrome may soon have full-screen mode. An avid user has spotted that the versions available from the Dev Channel now include full-screen support.
To enable full-screen in the development release of Chrome you just press F11, much like any other browser.
This much anticipated feature should make it’s way in to the public release of Google Chrome in the coming weeks.
With the recent release of Safari 4 beta, Apple launched a large marketing campaign on it’s website.
Turns out, many of the facts are in fact, not fact.
Users over at the Opera forums have dissected several facts, with sources proving Apple has got it wrong.

OmniWeb, a Mac only browser is now free. The web browser, with a market share of less than 1% still has a very strong and loyal user base.
The browser includes features such as a built-in ad-blocker and can automatically save browsing sessions.

Google has joined the European Union (EU) case against Microsoft as a 3rd party.
“This is because Internet Explorer is tied to Microsoft’s dominant computer operating system, giving it an unfair advantage over other browsers. Compare this to the mobile market, where Microsoft cannot tie Internet Explorer to a dominant operating system, and its browser therefore has a much lower usage” explains Google’s Sundar Pichai.
The case against Microsoft is good, and will take many months to be heard.
Microsoft has released a new update for Windows 7 users for Internet Explorer 8.

The update will be pushed out to Windows 7 users via Automatic Updates or can be manually downloaded from Windows Update.
Apple has released Safari 4 beta to the public.
The release is incredibly impressive, with over 150 new features, including support for some HTML5 elements along with improvements in the rendering engine.
Safari 4 also scores an impressive 100/100 in Acid 3 which tests a browsers standards compatibility. Opera 10 alpha and Safari 4 beta are now the only two main web browsers to reach this feat.
Safari 4 includes a new JavaScript rendering engine called Nitro. It’s claimed to be 4 times faster than Firefox 3.1 and 6 times faster than Internet Explorer 8. Benchmark results should be out soon.
